Who Are We?

The Board
The Trust has a Board of volunteers who contribute their time to communicate with supporters, raise funds and determine which projects to support. The Board meets every month to carry out these tasks. While the Board started as a small group of Anna's friends and family, it has now expanded to include new members who bring with them a range of skills and talents.

Another important role which the Board has is to make recommendation to the Melbourne Community Foundation about what grants it should be from the Anna Wearne Fund.

There are also a range of committees which are made up of valued Trust supporters who help organise things such as our Fundraising events. These committee members play an important role in the Trust without needing to formally join the Board.

Twice a year the Trust publishes its Newsletter, Cork Your Hole. Many people wonder about the title Cork Your Hole, which was Anna's way of telling people to sit down and listen to her when she had something important to tell them. It has stories about the projects we are supporting and our latest news. Click here to join the mailing list for our newsletter.
