What
the Trust does
- Grants and projects
- Since 1997, the Anna Wearne Trust and the MCF via the Anna Wearne
fund have made many donations, contributing to various groups,
individuals and organisations. The aim and objectives of the Trust are
flexible enough to enable it to support a diverse range of projects.
Each project differs from the next in many ways, but all fall within
the scope of the aims and objectives of the Trust.
Over
the first 10 years, $87,900 has been granted to over 95 applicants.
- Fundraising
events
- When we fund raise for the Anna Wearne Trust, as
well as raising money to finance the projects we support, we try to
ensure that we experience the fun part of fund raising. We
know Anna would appreciate us doing it that way.
We
have a small fundraising sub-committee who organise our events.
In
the past weve had art shows and auctions, film nights, trivia nights
and even a very swish cocktail party. We are always looking for ideas and
support, so if you know of a great fundraising idea, please let us know.
- The
Koori OT Scheme (KOTS) - The Anna Wearne Trust
manages the financial operations of KOTS, an initiative geared at
increasing Indigenous representation in the Occupational Therapy
profession. Read more here
