Aboriginal Australia Wuchopperin Grant 2004 Late 2004 the Wuchopperin mob, a Northern Queensland Indigenous troupe, applied for a grant to tour the Cape York communities and Woodford folk festival. The AWT were very excited about this grant as not only was it our first Queensland grant but it was also a beautiful application for a very exciting tour. The youngest participant was less than one and the oldest was in their seventies. It was a successful tour, with the Wuchopperin mob visiting four communities over ten days during the New Year period on a cultural tour. The AWT was honoured to grant $1,000 towards the travel costs. << Back
